Nehawka Community Center in Nehawka

Saturday, February 19th

1:00PM to 4:00PM

Everyone participating should plan on bringing their gun, however you will NOT need any ammunition.  We will not be shooting, only working on stance, aiming, target tracking and gun fit, so the gun is necessary,  but for safety reasons, we will not allow anyone to have any shells of any kind at this meeting!!!

This will be the final meeting to have anyone who is interested in participating on the team sign up.  We will address some housekeeping items such as t-shirt and sweatshirt orders as well as anyone who wants to order the window decals.  We'll get started working both as a group and with each individual shooter.  Hopefully everyone has been working on shouldering their guns several times per week to begin conditioning.  If not, please work on this.  It will only help your stamina so you can have a strong start to the season.

One Final Note:  Anyone needing to take their Hunter Safety can do so starting Thursday night, February 10th at the Papillion Gun Club.
The class is held from 6:00PM to 9:30PM
on Thursday, 2/10/11;
Tuesday, 2/15/11; and finishes on Thursday, 2/17/11.
Even though the Game & Parks website says this class is full, anyone who needs this to participate on the Trap Team will be allowed into the class, but you have to be there on Thursday, 2/10/11 and participate in all 3 sessions and pass the final exam to obtain your certification!!!

We will take a couple of breaks the afternoon of the Trap Camp, (drinks and snack to be provided).  If anyone has anything they like in particular, they are welcome to bring it along!!!

Let me know if you have any questions regarding the Trap Camp meeting on Saturday, 2/19/11.

Thanks,
