2013-11-20 gift_calendar

Some of the most wonderful gifts are those that do not cost a penny.

For the past few weeks, we've been adding to a list of 'gifts' that anyone can give. You don't even have to wait for a holiday or special occasion to give these gifts and you'll be giving yourself 'the gift of giving'!

THE GIFT for  WEEK #5:  The GIFT of LAUGHTER.
Share a funny story that happened to you or a funny article you've read.  Say 'hello' in a funny way or make a silly face at a time it's least expected.  You're 'gift' is saying, 'I love to see you laugh and I want you to be happy.'

WEEK #4:  THE GIFT of a GOOD DEED.

Do something nice for someone, just because.   There are so many opportunities every day, but remember that you NEVER should do a favor just to get something in return.

Week #3:  THE GIFT of LISTENING.

You might hear someone talking, but are you really listening to what those words mean?  To truly listen, don't be thinking about your response, don't interrupt the other person or be distracted by watching tv, texting, etc., just listen.  How many times have you said to someone, 'Just listen to me?'.  Now it's your turn to give the GIFT of LISTENING.

Week #2:  THE GIFT of AFFECTION.

Appropriate hugs, kisses, a pat on the back and reaching for someone's hand can demonstrate your care, love and support for family and friends at a time when they might most need it.  Be generous!

Week #1: THE GIFT of A COMPLIMENT.

Give at least one person you meet each day a compliment.  What an awesome gift!  When you give a heartfelt compliment, YOU could be remembered for a lifetime!

FREE CLASSIFIED ADS ARE BACK!

Dear Murray Newsletter Subscribers,

Our neighbor, Louisville, is testing the FREE CLASSIFIED ADS section, again, as a community service to the surrounding area.

The Community Friendly classified ads are intended for Cass County area residents (Springfield, Unadilla, Nebraska City and other neighboring communities are welcome to use this, also). There is NO COST to post your ad, but you will need to register an account first. This account lets you manage your ads, edit, re-publish, delete, etc. We need to keep 'bad stuff' from showing up, so there is a short delay between your post and the ad going live.

Go to  http://www.louisvillenebraska.com/ and click on the 'Classified Ads' tab on the top right to register.

Remember, lets make this a safe and community-friendly place to share with our readers.

Contact WireBuilt Company at 402-804-2184 with any questions.
