The Conestoga Cougars Volleyball Club has fun with volleyball training, practicing passing, setting, serving and hitting.
An end of the year pizza party was held for the parents and players, shown above with their volley-lite youth volleyballs and t-shirts they got with membership.
Below, Doane College Volleyball Coach, Cindy Meyer, and her players came to the end of year party to discuss life lessons for athletes, such as integrity, teachable spirit, academic responsibility.
Below, at the Great Plains Regional Tournament, our 15's division team brought home 1st-place medals. Way to go, Girls!

GOLF!
The 13th annual Murray-Beaver Lake Lions Club Golf Fundraiser tournament will be held Saturday, June 15th, 2013. This fundraiser helps the Lions Club provide services to the Murray-Beaver Lake community in many ways.
The Lions provide support for those needing help with purchasing eyeglasses, hearing aids, and other things essential for a good life. The Lions also provide help to Conestoga students for school activities and pursuit of excellence. This year we provided two scholarships to graduating Conestoga seniors.
Last year’s golf tournament allowed us to contribute to the development of the Cougar Hollow at the elementary school.
Below is information for the tournament and a copy of the raffle ticket for seats to the Nebraska and Illinois football game. Please try to get a team together for the tournament and purchase some raffle tickets. (They'd make a great Father's Day gift!)
And, remember that the Lions are always looking for new members who would like to support their community. We are a service organization.
Thanks for your support!
