Thirty days hath September,
April, June and November.
February has twenty-eight alone,
Yet all the rest have thirty-one,
Except in Leap Year, that's the time -
When February's Days are twenty-nine.
WELCOME TO A NEW BEGINNING!
The Conestoga Cougar Marching Band performed at the Nebraska State Fair on August 28, 2010, under the direction of Conestoga Music Director, Dwight Rose.

The members, consisting of 8 -12th graders, have been practicing their marching skills for a while and proved what hard work is made of.
Also performing along with the band, is the newly-formed "Cougar Corps" flag team. The girls started practicing during the summer, and gave up a lot of their time to prepare for this occasion.

(Reminder - The Conestoga Music Department continues to collect Box Tops for Education, so please cut the little pink rectangles from packages and send them to the high school. Thank you!)

DON'T FORGET!
GRANDPARENTS' DAY
is this
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
Grandma and Grandpa, tell me a story
and snuggle me with your love.
When I'm in your arms, the world seems small
and we're blessed by the heavens above.
